Can't select Medium Priority Channel

Probably a stupid question, but I am trying to select Medium Priority Channel and High on some of my SMs, but the enable box is greyed out. I couldn't find anything in the user manual on why this would be.

Any suggestions?

Which model number is the SM and AP of the radios you are working with? What software version are you using?

@ElbowWilham,

Thanks for posting. It looks like to me you have found a bug.
As a workaround you could disable javascript or use SNMP or config file.

450i 900mhz.

I disabled JS and then I can check the boxes, but when I save it has the Low Priority Channel Checked again.

Oops, sorry about that I misunderstood your original question. Per current design, to have a Medium Priority Data Channel, you must have at least three Data Channels enabled. Here is the order that the Data Channels get enabled:

  • 1 - Low Priority only (default)
  • 2 - Low and High
  • 3 - Low, Medium and High
  • 4 - Low, Medium, High and Ultra High

This was done for several reasons, one was for upgrade from earlier releases before 15.2 and also to ensure mapping of CodePoints sends VoIP traffic by default to a High Priority (if available).

Sorry for the confusion. We'll try to clarify it on the GUI and remove the check-boxes which are never able to be used.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
