Changing BAM admin password

Good day,

I am looking to find out how to change the password to access the BAM software front end. I found some documentation that said how to do it using the mysqladmin -u root password yourpassword but it does not work.

Any suggestions?

~Ben

Are you able to “administrator login” from BAM gui page using password as “canopy” ? If yes,you can try following

telnet localhost 9080 !replace localhost with your BAM server url or ip add
username : canopy
password : canopy

! If you are successful then you are successfully login into BAM ssed engine

help
config change pass root yournewpassword yournewpassword
exit

now login into bam gui with yournewpassword

Best of luck!!!

That does not work. Our BAM server is located in a remote location and therefore I only have SSH control. Any other suggestions?

So forward X over the SSH connection. Easy.
