My CMM micro keeps losing GPS sync, have changed the GPS antenna and cable but it still loses sync, any ideas on what could be causing this?
What is the status of the GPS antenna on the GPS status page?
I recently had a problem where the GPS Antenna error was “Over Current” which means a short. Turns out water got into the connector inside the cmm cabinet - tried another cable and antenna with no luck.
Took out the internal cable and there was some carbon build up where the center pin had been arcing to the barrell. Cleaned out the carbon, dried it out and reinstalled and it works fine.
Needless to say, I did a pretty serious wrap job after that.
