Any disadvantage to mounting your CMM high on tower (390ft.) and using short ethernet cables?
i would say its completely up to you. In our setup our CMM is on the ground in a cabinet under the tower. When we have to visit the tower to work on the routers or if we ever had some kind of problem, the CMM is what we’ve been using to plug into the system. So for us atleast, 400’ in the air would be hard to plug into
