CMM Problems

Hi there,

I have 4 AP conected to a CMM, and I keep getting a very weird problem; 2 or 3 times a day, the 4 AP’s that I have conected to the CMM stop working.

It is weird, if I check the status of the CMM, it show that all AP’s are operational, but if I try to ping the AP’s, none of them respond, and of course all my clientes are down.

The AP’s have been working perfectly for about a year without a CMM

Has any one had this type of problem? Any Ideas on what it could be?

Adolfo

I had a similar problem when someone came in our area without a cmm

Check out the following:

- Is DFS kicking in? That will stop the radio from working for 30 min if it detects a radar pulse on the same frequency as it.

- Is it losing sight of GPS satellites? If that happens on a CMM Micro then it stops generating a timing pulse.
