cnMaestro MongoDB corruption and recovery

cnMaestro mongod has been running at near 100% CPU and 100% memory for ~9 hours following a corruption and crash.

It has been running Wired Tiger wt_verb_recovery_process on multiple logs for all of that time.
One message recorded in the log is a strong recommendation to use XFS rather than EXT4 with the Wired Tiger storage engine.

This is the first time this issue has ever occurred. Is there any way to identify how long recovery will take?
I’m running 3.0.3 on premises with latest security patch.

Does anyone know if the mongoDB is encrypted or compressed?
The only option specified in mongod.conf is journalling but I can’t get recovery to run.

@Lightnet_Barry I have sent a private message, please could you check and reply?
