Relying on the default date update in 24.2 software serves only as a temporary solution. Frequent certificate updates are expected, so every deployed AP must have a reliable time source to ensure long-term connectivity to cnMaestro Cloud.

A successful cnMaestro connection between an AP/BHM and cnMaestro Cloud or an NTP-synced On-Premises installation provides an accurate time to the AP/BHM once the link is established. However, as of Q1 2025, an accurate date on the AP/BHM is required for a successful SSL connection before the AP/BHM-to-cnMaestro link can be established.
