Hi all

Our business customers now want to be able to log into cnMaestro and see their cambium devices, but they still want us to manage them which means we need to be able to see them as well.

At the moment to allow customers to see their own devices but not other customer’s devices (or ours), we have to set them up with their own cnMaestro account/instance. For us to look at their devices this means logging out of one instance and logging into another (or keeping multiple instances open) in order to change which customer we’re looking at. This is even more burdensome if we are troubleshooting a tower which can have multiple customer radios on it.

I would like to have a global view of all the devices we manage in cnMaestro, while giving customers read-only access to only their devices.

I know this isn’t the solution you are looking for, but in case there is any misunderstanding: you shouldn’t need to log out of one instance in order to view another one - you can have multiple instances open in separate browser tabs.

True and I do do this but

  1. on-prem has a tendency to freeze tabs if left open for a few days so I end up closing and re-opening the instance anyway.
  2. playing whack-a-mole with my browser tabs trying to find the one I need is tiresome.

cnMaestro’s Managed Services feature will let you do that. It allows you to partition your account into separate Managed Accounts, each of which can have their own admin / operator accounts while the top-level MSP admins have access to all these managed accounts.

Note that this feature requires cnMaestro X
