Configuring Route Mode on CnPilot R-Series Home Routers

This document explains on how to configure Route mode on CnPilot R-Series Routers. From 4.5 onwards we have introduced Route Mode . Route Mode allows routers to forward packets from one network to another on the basis of destination IP address without modifying it's IP/Port. Currently Route mode is supported only on Single WAN Profile

In this case, if LAN  subnet is 192.168.11.0/24 and when traffic from LAN is destined to another network, router will forward the traffic to it’s next hop IP address(it’s default gateway) without modifying the source IP/Port

Steps to configure Route mode:    

Go to Network>WAN. Disable NAT as shown in screenshot. Once you disable NAT ,You will get “Route Enable” button. Select Enable as shown in screenshot
