A customer has upgraded a P8 AP to 7.3.6 and now wants to make it into an SM w/hardware scheduling since he has been replacing his AP’s with Advantage models.
He can’t get the CNUT to turn on HW scheduling. The unit is running AP firmware but is in SM mode and CNUT says the unit doesn’t support HW scheduling. Probably because it’s still AP firmware.
Will CNUT allow him to download SM firmware into the AP? I haven’t been able to find the right procedure to properly convert a P8 AP into a P8 SM w/HW Scheduling turned on.
Any help would be appreciated.
