Devices stuck in upgrading mode?

Hi, we have a bunch of devices that are stuck in upgrade mode, what's the proper fix? We rebooted the VM to no avail.:

If these devices have been stuck for a while and are not actually upgrading, you may be able to abort the job.  Normally the devices will fail by timeout after around 5 minutes of no activity and exit upgrade mode.

Application -> Jobs -> Software Update:  in the right-most column there are buttons that will let you pause or abort.  You may need to scroll your screen.  Find the active job that is upgrading those devices.  There should only be one active job.  Abort should take the devices out of upgrade mode.

Afterwards check on those devices to ensure they are operating correctly.
