When this feature is enabled, 60 GHz cnWave intercepts DHCPv4 REQUEST and DISCOVER packets and inserts option 82 fields.
Configuration
Circuit ID and Remote ID fields are configurable using the following wild cards
$nodeMac$ - Node’s MAC address in ascii format without colons. This is the default option
$nodeName$ - Node’s topology name
$siteName$ - Site name
$networkName$ - Network name as shown in cnMaestro.
Multiple wild cards can be combined with a ‘:’ delimiter. Total length of the option (after wildcards are replaced with corresponding value) will be truncated to 120 characters.
A custom string not starting ‘$’ character can be configured as well. For example, customers phone number.
The feature is applicable only in Layer 2 mode.
