Driver mode for 4000 series

Hi everyone, I recently started up a ePMP 4500. the software on it was ePMP-AX-5.4.0.26. the driver modes was very interesting. It showed a WLR driver mode. I do not know what it stands for or the functionality. Can anyone elaborate?

Thanks

From what I’ve been told… IIRC, it’s kind of a basic WiFi mode that takes advantage of some of the more notable 802.11ax features like per station scheduling. It provides basic PtMP functionality while the more advanced ePMP TDD scheduler is being ported over.

Thanks Eric, any idea what the acronym stands for?

It stands for “WiFi Long Range”.
