Hi all, I have a site with a tx 2012 rp that we have powering 2 e3k AP using frequency reuse, one faces east and one faces west. We are using the cnpulse port of the switch and it is reporting 100% sync but the e3k radios show no gps stats in one of them and poor gps stats in the other. Does this not matter since using sync from switch and pulse device? Here are screenshots from Monitor→ GPS of the radios in question…
The signal that’s delivered via the ethernet port to the radios only provides a 1PPS Cambium Sync signal, it doesn’t impart any GPS information. That GPS status information on the radios is derived from the onboard integrated GPS or via external GPS puck.
