Encryption + Authentication?

I’m using custom software based on JungleAuth to perform SM authentication, with APs pointing at three JA servers to authenticate SMs. One 900mhz AP set up for this test had Airlink Security Encryption enabled, (don’t know why, I keep it disabled on all APs after some past problems we encountered with it) and was unable to get customers fully connected. (They listed in the AP sessions as “LUID:35” etc, no names, and customers couldn’t route out and we couldn’t reach SMs)

Is this a known incompatibility? Does it affect Prizm authentication as well, or just JungleAuth for some reason?

Hi, I wrote JungleAuth and noticed your post while googling around.
JA does not work with Airlink Encryption as I haven’t been able to figure out the key exchange protocol.
