ePMP 3000 4.9 Public Safety

I saw that the ePMP 3000 is listed to run into the 4.9GHz public safety band, but is it FCC approved for that band yet?

And how can that band be enabled? (I have several municipalities that would eagerly licence this).

While it supports operation in 4.9GHz world wide, it is not certified for 4.9 use in FCC/USA land. There are no plans for it to be certified for this band. You will need to use PMP450i or PTP670 for this band.

Thanks. Is the PMP450 series the only Cambium multipoint 4.9GHz FCC approved line, then?

PTP670 also supports high capacity multipoint (HCMP) with a license key. You can find out some information HERE.
