What is the advantages/purpose of the release of the new sector antenna versus the old design? From looking at the photos of it, it doesn't appear that it would have as good of back shielding as the original antennas but the data sheet shows it has a better f/b ratio so I assume I am mistaken?
Also, is there a mechanical datasheet on the Smart Antenna? The only sheet I can find doesn't show gain or pattern.
The new sector is also quite a bit higher gain (18dbi, vs 14/15dbi). It actually looks like a really nice antenna, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on some.
Designed for anywhere between 90 and 120deg apps. One last thing to mention is that the new antenna is designed to have the BSA mount directly to it. If you use a 3rd party antenna with the 2000, and you want to use the BSA, you'll have to McGyver the mounting plate on the BSA. EDIT: This just in... ePMP2000 AP and BSA will each have their own direct pole mount included.

I would think there would be some pattern because they said it is best to use them as a 90 degree sector. It would also be interesting to see the gain? I'm surprised this info was left off the spec sheet.
