ePMP Elevate Migration Ubnt SMs

Hi Guys,

We are migrating ubnt SMs, but the machine settings are not kept as the PPPOE user and password.

Another thing is that the SMs delay loading open login screen.

Someone can help us and we do not get any help.

That is the expected behaviour. The PPPoE settings are not currently transferred, you will need to set the SM to either a static IP, or DHCP and make sure you can access it on that IP before upgrading, and then manually enter the correct settings after the upgrade (if you upgrade a UBNT SM that's set to PPPoE, there will be no way to remotely access it after the upgrade to ePMP firmware). If you are using XM hardware (NanoBridges or older NanoStations), there will be a bit of a delay opening the login, due to limitations of the older hardware.

Here ou will find which configuration options can be migrated and how standard migration process looks like.

Thank you.

HI,

Thank you so much!

Realy with the hardware XM has a delay in the login.

Resolved my problem regarding migration using dhcp, the settings remain simply just configure the PPPoe after the upgrade.
