I have some problems with ePSK.
I start by saiyng that all the VLAN's are correctly configured and works.
In my lab I have create an AP Group with 2 SSID.
The principal is a normal WPA2-PSK (VLAN 1) and the second SSID (Guest) is a ePSK (VLAN 2 in every created user).
I insert all the WLANS inside the AP Group and the second SSID don't bring an IP from DHCP.
The VLAN 2 is corrdectly configured inside the user and is tagged in the network.
If I don't use the ePSK but I use the normal WPA2 password of the second SSID it works well
In lab I have solved creating a indentical profile and works well.
We have installed the AP's to the consumer and the problem there's again.
I have tried to create another profile but is difficult from remote do proper tests but seems don't works.
I have solved the issues setting the VLAN of the SSID in VLAN 2 and not setting the VLAN in the ePSK users.
Anyone have the same problem?
I think is a bug...
P.S. A nice feature can be setting an autodelete timer of the created ePSK

sugesstion is good to consider auto delete option, we will look into it.

I've tried again with a brand new cnpilot and works well (setting various VLAN's in the ePSK).
But the same happened with the first configuration for the costumer and at the moment that has been mounted was impossible bring an IP from the DHCP.
Bypassed the problem setting VLAN 2 in the SSID VLAN (Basic settings of the WLAN where you set the SSID etc...).
Now i'm testing in lab and all works well...
Any news about the 4000 users feature? I have costumers that start to complain the 300 limit

Any updates on this ? Have been generally happy with E-PSK but the max limit is a issue for bigger clients.The Mikrotik sites I migrated have been humming along pretty sweetly thus far.
“ePSK Scale” is a feature that we are working on currently. More than 300 keys will be a paid feature in cnMaestro. Target is to increase the count to 600-1024 keys in Q4 and up to 3000 in 2021.

Ok thanks Kumar. I’m taking it you can’t divulge how the payments will work ? Per AP , Per Site , Per WLAN group , Total Ammt of AP’s, monthly / annually ? Do we buy them in packs or on a key by key basis ?
Yes, the pricing details are not yet finalized. We are targeting a device count based pricing with 1/3/5 year terms.
Is also the way of storing the epsk’s changing? Now if you add an epsk all the clients lose there connection.

This is also work in progress - we are targeting Q1 6.3 release with the Wi-Fi 6 APs first where we minimize impact to connected clients when the configuration changes.
Have you implemented a MDU solution with SONAR and CnMaestro with EPSK. Im working on something the same and use Sonar.
ePSK limit is increased to 512(wave1- E5xx series) and 1024(wave2 ) AP’s in the 4.1-r3 image.

Sorry for not reporting back been busy.I had tested 1000 odd on a E410 and it seemed to work from what I could tell via beta.I take it the 1024 limit is memory/storage/cpu related ? So I’m really happy for the future.This takes care of 95% of the sites for me.If cnMaestro-X pricing is good I’ll be shifting a lot of Aerohive installs over next year as prices under Extreme are laughably expensive.
Will the WiFi 6 AP’s be able to do more ePSKs in the future ? I have one customer that has around 800-850 global headcount and keeps increasing every year.
At moment, XV2 shall support 1024 ePSK keys in upcoming software version. Please confirm if you are looking for more than 1024 ePSK key support.
cnMaestro X will support more than 1024 keys?
We have a costumer with many e410 that demands 3000 key every few months…
