Feature Request: Distance and Bearing Measurement Tool in Offline and Google Maps

Hi Folks - Would it be possible to add a ruler tool to the map windows that measures distance and azimuth between two points? Primarily, the two points would be created on the fly in either map window; a bonus feature would be a calculation that snaps to two existing network and/or subscriber sites. --Will

Thanks for the suggestion. I can't make any guarantees for when it will be available, but I will add it to our list. We are in the process of reviewing the embedded Google Map view to improve performance, so it may be possible to sneak it in at the same time.

You get a preview of the link length when you are in the process of creating a new PTP link in either map, but we should be able to add something which works with all sites.

Hi Will,

We have added this feature to the offline map in v4.4.0. If the cursor is over a site then it will snap to the centre point.
