My test Force 180 and Force 200 radios both have a new retaining strap for holding the wire covers. They both popped off very easily!
Is it possible I just have some poorly attached straps, or are others seeing the same issue?
Thank you,
Chris

I've only deployed 4 force 180 units, but the retaining strap detached from the cable door on every one of them.
They are mostly junk and then get in the way when you try to slide the door back on and prevent a good seal.
Sorry to hear the troubles, but have found this problem internally and are cutting in a change to ensure that the retaining strap (Lanyard) stays engaged to the RJ45 cover. We're adding an adhesive on the lanyard to bond to the cover.
Thanks
Joe

Joe,
It seems the button that holds the lanyard on is not large enough. You might also consider making that larger.
