Google maps or earth not working on mac. When will it be fixed?
Sorry for the delay in responding.
We disabled the embedded Google Map in the Mac version of LINKPlanner since there were a number of display and stability issues caused by the embedded web browser.
The embedded Google Earth view will never be supported on the Mac version since the Google Earth Plug-in does not recognise the web browser that we use inside LINKPlanner. Also, Google are stopping support for the Google Earth API later in the year so we will be removing this feature from the Windows version of LINKPlanner.
When we remove the embedded Google Earth map from the Windows version, we will review the mapping capability inside LINKPlanner and attempt to reintroduce the embedded map in the Mac version.
For now, you can export your project to Google Earth and copy/paste sites from Google Earth to LINKPlanner.

Hitting the Google earth icon doesn't open Google earth and fly you to the network? (or link?)
Are you having problems importing files from Goolge earth?
Are you having problems exporting a LINKPlanner file to Google earth?

We currently have no plans to introduce the embedded Google Map view to the Mac version of LINKPlanner.
When we tested the map on the Mac version, the embedded web browser caused LINKPlanner to crash unexpectedly and there were numerous painting issues with the map, such as map tiles appearing off the main LINKPlanner screen. The web browser code and the Google Map code are out of our control so we are unable to resolve the issues.

when this feature ready?
Unfortunately the embedded browser on OSX does not include the features that we need to get the embedded Google Map working. We currently have no plans to introduce the Google Map to the Mac version.
