what is the part number for the GPS antenna for a CMM2?
what isthe recommended distance from the cmm to GPS antenna?
if that distance is less than 140 feet, how many satellites does it need to track in order to synch?
another question, can a BH slave transmit its timing pulse through the CMM2 to synch 3 AP’s?
Thanks

The GPS receiver is a Motorola Oncore M12+ Timing Receiver... this is a 12 channel receiver, and will use as many satellites as available in order to derive proper timing sync. Generally speaking, we have to have at least three satellites in view before truly accurate timing can be established, although initial timing is defined once we start receiving time from the first satellite lockup.

No, the BHS receives its sync from the BHM to which it is radio-connected, and while it will propagate the 1PPS out the timing port, the CMM2 will also be propagating its own 1PPS out on pin1 of the timing cable as well. You will not want to connect the timing cable from the BHS into the CMM2 as the information will be ignored, the 1PPS generated by the CMM will sync the 3 APs at that location.
does anyone know thepart number for just the antenna for the GPS or where to getone?
Thanks
I cant find it at the moment, but there was a thread a while back where a guy was able to buy the gps unit in a store and replace it instead of returning the whole cmm. Its in here somewhere and it included the part number that you want.

That was me, didn't want to deal with all the hassle of pulling the CMM out of the network.
Regarding the antenna, check this here:

This the the outfit where I acquired my spare parts.
