GPS synchronization

Hi

We have faced an issue with the external GPS synchronization.
In our AP ePMP3000, with the firmware 4.4.2, when we set the GPS synchronization source in external, disconnections happened, and customers complained, although the AP doesn't de-register the SMs, but the disconnections do occur.
When we turn the GPS synchronization source to internal, the disconnections stop.

1-We have faced this issue since the firmware 3.5.6, and upgrade the system to 4.4.2 and the problem still occurs.
2-The site with least registered SMs, in our network, has approximately 400 SMs, and they all face this issue
3-we tried to disabled the Co-location Mode in some sites as a test, and the issue still occurs, despite, the Co-location Mode is disabled
4-There are 197 APs in our network - in one intense dense area- and the problem happened in every sites.
5-What the method are you using in GPS tracking: trilateration or triangulation.

Hi Ashraf,

ePMP3000 supports 4.x FW only.

I would suggest trying 4.4.3 FW to see if it solves the issue.

We did some fixes related to disconnects between 4.4.2 and 4.4.3.

If the issue will persist, please open the ticket with Cambium Support.

Thank you.
