it will be ideal if there is a industry standard all manufacturer follows, so a standard antenna interface can work with all different radios.
In reality, almost all vendors have their own unique interface from mechnical size to interface.
Can we re-use already installed third party atennna for PTP820?
The answer is "Yes, and depends ...."
Current we support convert of following antennas for PTP820 use.
1. Andrew ValuLine series, with a convert kit, we can cover most of them to PTP820 direct mount interface.
2. Radiowave withDragonwave interface or Exalt interface, we can cover them to PTP820 direct mount.

Step 1:
Carefully clean and grease the O-ring mounted on the Dragonwave antenna using the grease tube supplied in the PTP820 Dragonwave antenna adaptor kit box
step 2: Gently slide the PTP820 Dragonwave antenna adaptor onto the Dragonwave antenna. Make sure that the hook is facing up and close the latches firmly.
Step 3: If the O-ring is already mounted to the PTP820 side of the Dragonwave antenna adaptor, just remove gently the adhesive tape. If the O-ring is not mounted, place the O-Ring supplied in the Dragonwave Interface kit onto the PTP820 Dragonwave interface. Make sure the mounting direction is correct, as shown in the section view.
step 4: Mount the OMT onto the PTP820 Dragonwave antenna adaptor using the screws provided in the OMT kit.

step 5: Mount the Radio according to the relevant radio installation instructions, and completed.
