Has anyone experience the guest / access control bandwidth throttling not working?

I am testing e400 and e410 with cn cloud

The access controll or bandwidth throttling / client rate limits are not functioning properly across all settings

We setup a captive portal and want to limit the up and down at the client level.

We setup a seperat vlan (20) at 10.0.0.1

It seems to not work across any area within cn cloud

However, there is something happening. The download is capped at 20mbps at almost every test

We have tried to get this corrected under the folowing areas:

Access Control>

Usage Limits>

Rate Limit per Client : 5000 down x 5000 up

We tried:

Rate Limit for WLAN : 5000 down x 5000 up

We tried:

Services>

Guest Access Portal>

Hotel Site Name>

Access>

FREE enabled>

Client Rate Limit: 5000 up x 5000 down

We tried:

Services>

Guest Access Portal>

Hotel Site Name>

Access>

Voucher enabled>

Add New Plan>

Client Rate Limit: 5000 downlink x 5000 uplink

When we see the captive portal and pass through, the limit does not apply

All the settings above do not function properly

Any insight or feedback would help

Hi Joe,

Thanks for posting. 

1. Could you please invite me into your cloud account as a super admin? It would be easier to debug further.

2. How are you validating the rate limit? If you are using any tool kinldy let us know. 

3. Without configuring Rate limit, could you please share your feedback on Downlink and Uplink Ratelimit speed?
