Help

I can’t get wireless router working at my customer house. The Router gets the IP information but the computers dosnt do anything. I think is a setting in the sm or ap.

what do you have filtered on the SM?

Hey!

If the SM is natted (router gets the IP) then it’s unlikely it’s an SM filter.

I would suggest bypassing the router, going directly to one computer.

I’d even try a second (my own) computer, if the first (client) computer failed to connect.

In context, I would want to know if this is the very first subscriber on a given AP, or perhaps even a new tower/site installation.

All things being equal . . .

Bad ends/bad wire.

If it is nat’d I have seen a router pull an IP on my internal network range, however there is still no connectivity.

The SM is not NAT’ed The Customer Router gets the Public IP, and the computer gets the ip from router but it still doesnt go to the internet.

whats filtered under the advanced network configuration?

Its not the Router because I bypassed the SM and AP and it work instantly. It has to be the SM because I cant even ping it are login to it. But if i move the Router I log right into the SMt no problem.

Ok my setup TRAFFIC MANAGER (10.0.0.1) - MASTER BACKHAUL (10.0.0.5) - SLAVE BACKHAUL (10.0.0.10) - AP (10.0.1.1) - SM (10.0.1.33) - CUSTOMER PC - 201.21.33.2

I found out if I put the customer on the 10.0.0.X it works fine,

Network is eth0
10.0.0.1 eth1

vlan 1.100 is 201.21.33.1
