# How can I mute/unmute transmit on a PTP 820(x)?

In the PTP 820(x) GUI, navigate to Radio/Radio Parameters.&nbsp; For PTP 820C/G, select the radio you want to mute or unmute and click **Edit**. The Radio Parameters page opens.&nbsp; For PTP 820S, the Radio Parameters page opens immediately when you select Radio/Radio Parameters.&nbsp; Scroll to the Configuration Parameters section of the Radio Parameters page.

Select TX mute **On** to mute the radio. Select TX mute **Off** to unmute the radio. Press **Apply** to activate the configuration changes.
