How do you make a default plug?

To make a default (override) plug use a RJ-11, 6 pin connector and a small length of Cat 5 cable. Short (solder) together pins 4 and 6. Remaining wires should not be connected. Use heat shrink tubing to cover the exposed end of the cable.
