The India Air Force (IAF) uses ePMP for perimeter security infrastructure in multiple bases. The solution connects dozens of remote locations an average of 4.5 kilometers (3 miles) distant from the Access Point tower locations.
The network provides a central location with immediate access to information on the integrity of electrical fencing, and immediate notification of any activities at the base perimeter. Because the solution is completely wireless, it was installed rapidly without time consuming trenching and digging or disturbing aviation operations.
