Is PTP200 max distance really 8Km?

Anybody have experiences about maximum distance achievable by PTP200?
I have seen a technical specification that says the maximum distance is 8Km.
The strange point is that it is the same with the integrated antenna or with external antenna, while it says that the PTP100 can reach 56Km with external antenna!
So, is this a print error or there is a real limit to the maximum distance of the PTP200, independent of the antenna gain?

I’ve never used the PTP200’s but I do know that in Aus at the very least in the 5.4 Band you are limited to a 1W EIGRP which leaves the max practical distance at around 8km.

OK, but that limit is valid for PTP100 too, and we all know that everybody does links of a few tens of kilometers with them...

So, nobody can confirm us that links longer than 8Km can be done with PTP200 and external antennas?

The problem with ptp2oo is that they have very low power, 12dbm. Ptp1oo has 23dbm
