Isn't CAnopy AES security same as WPA2 ?

I read on a very reputable web site regarding security in general, that AES (advanced encryption statndard" security is the same as WPA2. However they made no mention of any particular manufacturer.

Since Canopy uses AES, doesn’t that means Canopy is using WPA2 (aka AES) for security?

Sound right? This web site also said AES is government approved as a very good security standard this web site said.

Now…

WPA2 uses a pre-shared key name. But I don’t remember typing in a pre-shared key name into my Canopy. Maybe Canopy already has this p re-shared key name embedded in the firmware?

Thanks

I did a Google search and it looke like 802.11i is the same as CAnopy’s AES?

Thanks
