Layer 3 Switch

Looking for recommendations on a good layer 3 switch at a good price. I currently have a flat network with 15 customers and would like to setup a VLAN to split my stuff off from my customers.

Thanks,
Frank

Foundry Networks

The price to perfomace can’t be beat. It will be way overkill for 15 subs, but it will definately scale…

HP Procurve is a good place to start … cheap and feature-rich.

I have never personaly dealt with Procurve, but i hear good things about them. I guess they currently offer free support, but have heard that is going away. Just glancing at price and features they look good, but they appear to oversuscribe the backplane. But they definately are cheaper than foundry.
