Hi,
After I set the AP to get the time and date through NTP (cmmicro ip), all the AP event log full of this line:
And its really annoying, I try to clear the event log ant it gets more and more, look like flooding to me.
I try not to get the time and date through cmmicro, yes the AP event log is not show Time set again, but at SM event log, it still flooding.
any ideas?

Yeah, I saw this too for a while.
Still trying to figure out why it did this.
What version are you running on the units that have this happen?
do you just forget about the flooding? will the event log full of this garbage than make the AP hang/ crash?
I used to always clean the Event log, but now not anymore. too many AP and SM full of these kind of event log.
Ill see what happened if I dont clean up this errors.
I believe those AP/SM get too many interference so they need to match up with the cmmicro again. :?:
normaly this means the sm has lost sync with the ap
How is the AP synced?
I have seen this in a few instances. The first, I was timing through the timing port form the slave BH. The cable was too long and after shortening it as much as possible and replacing the ends, the error went away. Another instance was not only the timing but interference. I changed freq and found one that was better off and the error then stopped as well. When possible, I would always suggest having your own timing at each tower- it works better.
By the way… does anyone know the cable length limit from timing port to timing port? I’ve been keeping any cable from GPS unit or timing source bellow 50 ft.
