Link between AP and SM went down, and I cannot get the link back up.

Verify proper Sync method is being used on the AP.  The quickest test is to use "Generate Sync."

Verify the Frequecy, color code, and IP address on SM.  Next verify the cable and power supply.

Finally, try use a spare SM with the same configuration, cable, and power supply to see of the SM will register.
