Would like to local SM Authentication thru an AP on site. No need for a BAM. But would like to lock down SM’s with some type of local Authentication.
Yes I would like to see something similar. I would like the SM to register to the AP but be able to deny sending more than a few Kbps if the IP address did not match the MAC in a database or if the IP address was just missing altogether. This would allow us to fix a bad IP without having to drive out there.
