Losing connection intermittantly from pc to sm

Hello,

I have been having issues intermittantly since Nov 2007 and have not yet found a solution.
I am losing connection intermittantly from the SM to the PC. Obviously when this happens connection to the internet goes with it.
I am using the Canopy Advantage 900 MHz system with the integrated antenna. It is my understanding that I should always be able to connect to the SM via the web interface from the PC. During these loss of packets the web interface times out.
I have replaced the SM, the power dongle, the cat5 in between the SM and the PC, and the PC.

Has anyone experienced these intermittant losses?
Any ideas on what I can test next or what could be causing this?

Below are pings from PC to SM:

Is the SM set to do NAT?
What Canopy s/w version?

Hello,

The SM is not set up for NAT.

I will have to check when I return home from work on the s/w version.

KL

The Canopy s/w version is 8.2.0

One additional thing that seems strange to me is that the gateway is configured on a different subnet than the sm. Is this normal for the Canopy system?

KL

We had problems with version 8.2 with the ethernet ports not auto negotiaiting correctly, upgrade to version 8.2.2 or 8.2.4, or set the link speed manually.

Definitely try this.

Howver, you didn't mention if this is only happening to ONE customer. Have they tried a router vs. direct connection, another PC, etc? Is it possible it's spamming the radio with broadcast traffic?
