MAC address of all 0's

Hi all!

I’m wondering if anyone here has encountered routers/computers that fail to get an IP from an SM (ver 7.3.6) - instead, the SM’s DHCP server lists the IP, a MAC of all 0’s, and the Lease Remained/State says “Reserved” but does not complete. Is there a documented cause for this?

I have seen this quite a bit. I usually release the ip of the pc and reboot the antenna.

Yeah, I’ve seen that fix it too, but some of our clients have larger installations and lack the expertise to go around resetting routers every time this happens. Anyone know anything about how to prevent it from happening?

Routers should only require a restart. have them power cycle not reset.
