Each customer I install, I get the MAC address of the device connected to the connection provided via Canopy 900SM (as a way to track/pin point problems later on down the road).
I am not familiar at all with a Mac computer and am wondering if there is an easy way to get the mac address from a mac (like the ipconfig -all command on a pc)?
Try “ifconfig -a” it may say Ethernet Address instead of MAC address. By the way, their Terminal program is under Applications --> Utilities.
OR
From the dock, select “System Preferences”.
Select the “Network” Pane
With the TCP/IP tab selected, the number next to Ethernet Address is your MAC address
Or just check the BRIDGETABLE in the SM it should show the MAC of the attached device.
