Management IP's fall asleep


We have a PMP450 network running 13.1.3 on AP’s and SM’s. The management IP’s on SM’s are private addresses assigned from our DHCP server, we use these IP’s to manage SM’s using a custom NMS server that we have been using for years with our Canopy/Cambium gear. On the PMP450 network the IP’s seem to “fall asleep” after a short time of inactivity. Our NMS server cannot retrieve any info from the SM and we cannot ping the management IP of the radio. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.


What is the ARP timeout on your router? We've run into this with other units prior to deploying PMP-450. We've reduced ARP timeout to 10 minutes and have never had a problem with this.
