MCS 13/12 in less than 1 mile???????????

1 x ap epmp1000 gps sync with 90º sector

1 x epmp 1000 SM integrated antenna

no interferences 

does anybody now why i cannot reach mcs 15/15 on less than 1 mile???

Distance from AP 0.838 miles

Operating Frequency 5700 MHz

Operating Channel Bandwidth 20 MHz

Downlink RSSI -69 dBm

Downlink SNR 28 dB

Transmitter Output Power 15 dBm

Uplink MCS MCS 13

Downlink MCS MCS 12

Power Control Mode from AP Closed Loop

Ethernet Interface 100 Mbps / Full Wireless Interface Up Country Generic ETSI

wireless link test gives  53 down / 54 upload and client is more than happy ... but im not happy with mcs...

both on v 2.4.3

Hi, 

There are several factors that will cause the MCS to degrade. First, the RSSI is -69 which is at the sensitivity of MCS15. On top of this you add packet loss due to interference, the rate adapt algorithm may drop the MCS further. The ePMP rate adapt selects the best MCS based on RSSI, SNR and packet loss under the current RF environment. Check under Monitor->Wireless and look for packet loss which is likely the cause of the lower MCS.
