We are wanting to mix antenna types between certain towers. Towers with more subscribers use 6 AP’s with 60 degree antenna. Towers with a smaller number of subscribers and less dense population use 3-4 AP’s with 90 degree. All towers have LOS to each other. The are on average about 3-4 miles apart. Will this mix of antenna types cause problems?
It should not cause any issues. You may not, however, be able to re-use frequencies as the plans defined in the Planning Guide are based on the same antennas being used at any given site.
(The adjacent channel rejection of this product is very good.)
