Monitoring radio GPS

Would have thought a 3000L losing GPS and therefore turning it’s radio off should trigger an alarm in cnMaestro.

Hi ,

sorry i was not able to understand your issue clearly. Can you please explain the issue you are facing clearly.

Thanks,
KR.

I have 3000L radios that I am monitoring/managing via cnMaestro. At present we have an issue where they have lost GPS sync (see 3KL GPS issue on 4.5.4 official) but when a 3000L loses GPS and subsequently shuts it’s radio off, no alarms appear in cnMaestro.

Hi ,
Thanks for the clarification. when you say Radio off when 3KL loses its GPS , is it the device went down or only the radio transmitting is off.

Thanks,
KR.

Is this with cnMaestro On-Premises or Cloud? If On-Premises, what version of cnMaestro are you using?

3KL turns it’s radio off

I am using the cloud version.

It’s a known issue with 4.5.4 firmware. I’ve been given the 4.5.5-RC1 by the support team seems to have resolved the issue so far.

Even if the GPS issue is fixed, I still think GPS dropping out should be something that triggers an alarm in cnMaestro.

No arguments there, I agree.
