Anyone know the range of theses units? Meaning how far apart can you put them before they wont mesh? I have been looking for this info but having a hard time finding it. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.
I have some of the tropos 5210 units. Of course it will depend on what is in between the units. I am using them at apartments complexes and the longest mesh I have that works is about 600 ft,now that is not direct los, there are buildings/trees in between.
Most of my mesh are within 400 ft of each other, that is with buildings in between…
these would be easily LOS… this is to WiFi a company campus and would be up on 3 towers, unfortunately I think there is a 1000ft+ in between buildings.
With los, you should be fine.
