NAT

Hi!

Does Canopy NAT support H.323 signalling?

Rim

Have you found out yet?

I’m interested as well, fore I’m planning on establishing Cisco ATA-188 from SM to AP linked to 3640 to my voice switch.

I would appreciate it if it’s founded.

Regards,

Los

Does it pass H.323 - yes. Does it allow ALL applications that use H.323 to pass - no.

Canopy will act as a layer 2 bridge and pass everything. However sometimes certain applications, such as Netmeeting, will not work in all scenarios. We have seen instances where a netmeeting event can be attended by PC’s behind the SM. But when the SM is hosting we have seen that the sessions from beyond the AP are unable to connect to the SM’s host session. So yes it does support H.323 but no it will not work in all cases when using NAT.
