Just happend to go there, and looks like today a new controller was released? Maybe this released the anchor account requirement? The release notes are not updated, though I didn’t expect that to be done.

We’ll upload the release notes shortly. This is just a bugfix release.

Yay… that’s something. Or it is due to the Airspan acquisition and to suite their needs as an ability to fork it over.

Note to those: If you expand out an on-prem backup taken from active controller, its quite clear. I bet “someone” will reverse and open source it… hope

so just to be clear, this release does not remove the anchor account dependency?

I am losing faith in “Cambium” IE – by the UK Administration. I know there is still some leftover developers there - thank you and I’m sorry for what you’re dealing with and going through, God speed.

However - for us to “trust” or have “Faith” in “Cambium” as to what is being delivered, Please release on-prem that is decoupled from Anchor & supports NSE – it CANNOT be that difficult to dump or export out the current cloud running version and package it as new OVA.

A small bugfix release 7-days before D-day is very strange… I feel it was only for AirSpan needs due to the acquisition…

What the heck is the point of this release if they didn’t remove the cloud dependency? October 1 is quickly approaching. We need a fully functional version before the cloud version disappears. Come on Cambium, give us an update on what the heck is going on!

And thinking about it what happens to this cambium community chat group after 1st OCt?
Someone with more brains than me should be setting up an external chat group and welcome all to this.

I think this is an excellent idea. I’m going to a look at putting a forum up on our company website. If this could help promote Cambium ePMP, I’m 100% into the idea.

@Simon_King Is there any way to migrate the database from cnMaestro Cloud to cnMaestro On-Premises?

I found this post, but it seems to be related to assistance from **Cambium Support** but they don’t answer the tickets.

> Hi Andy, To move your database from cnMaestro Cloud to cnMaestro On-Premises, please contact Cambium's Customer Support. Within approximately 48 hours, you will be sent a link where you can download your cnMaestro cloud database into your On-Premises setup. Afterwards, you will need to configure the cnMaestro URL on your devices to point to your local cnMaestro On-Premises rather than the default, [https://cloud.cambiumnetworks.com](https://cloud.cambiumnetworks.com/)

but they don’t answer the tickets.

Sorry Support tickets are going unanswered — that’s rough with the timeline. If standing up and babysitting On-Prem yourself isn’t ideal: we host cnMaestro On-Premises cutovers and include guided collection from a logged-in Cambium Cloud tab — [https://cloudwlc.com](https://cloudwlc.com) — independent of Cambium/RSM. Happy to answer questions in-thread; no hard sell.

I don’t believe so. The instructions in this post are the recommended way to migrate from Cloud to On-Premises:

> [@Guidance for cnMaestro Enterprise Customers - (updated) 18 Sep 2026](https://community.cambiumnetworks.com/t/guidance-for-cnmaestro-enterprise-customers-updated-18-sep-2026/108849):

The recommendation is to migrate your cnMaestro Cloud account to cnMaestro On-premises so that you can continue managing your network. This document provides guidance on doing that. Create a Cloud…
