I have a greenfield deployment of epmp 3000 equipment that I have had nothing but problems with. From the ap freezing up from time to time, requiring a power cycle, to clients freezing up requiring power cycles, or clients disconnecting every couple of hours.
So, this is a ePMP3000 (Full) with just Force300 clients? No mixed-mode Force200 clients?
We aren't seeing any such issues with full 3000/300 deployments. I know some people are saying that 4.3.2.1 has a bug where if one 'n' client stops talking, it'll "block" the others clients - resulting in needing a reboot. From what I understand Firmware 4.4 is closing in on the last pesky bugs, but that's in Private Beta, and it's ETA is about the end of the month for public beta, and from what I hear - about mid month for release (if bug squashing goes well).
Is your system 100% 3000 / 300 - with no N or Elevated clients at all?
Yes, no N clients. 11 clients connected and they all have issues staying connected. Lots of calls from customers. Signals are in the 40's and 50's, full mods for all the clients. They just randomly disconnect quite frequently.
I thought I saw a thread about similar issues but they attributed it to faulty hardware. I'd hate to think all of my client radios have faulty hardware.
We have one ePMP 3000 up with -only- AC customers, and one 3000 up for testing. The 3000 with customers has been up as I write this for 31 days and 21+ hours since our last firmware update to 4.3.2.1. It was up for quite a while before that. We have had no issues to date.
We will be turning on 8 more 3000 AP's in the next few weeks on some greenfield towers. Hope it goes as well as this one sector.
