No "Other" on the Country Code (Power) on the SW Version 6.x.x.x

Hi,

The Gambia is not on the list for Country appropriate regulatory configuration. so we normally will choose “Other”, and this we never had problems with on the firmware versions 4.x.x.x. We upgrade all our e510 & e700 APs on 6.x.x.x we started having sync errors on the country codes. Suddenly all our AP radios went off.
Please urgently advise???

Hi,

In 6.X firmware version, country code “others” is not supported. Cambium support site has cnPilot APs_4.X_to_6.X_migration_document_v1_2.pdf which lists this limitation behavior.

we can consider adding the support for Gambia country in 6.X firmware. Request you to open support ticket and share the below information to support Gambia country,

  1. List of channels supported both in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz w.r.to AP placement as indoor and outdoor

  2. Max EIRP for each channel w.r.to AP placement as indoor and outdoor

  3. DFS channels list
