NTP vs CMM

Does the NTP feature in the APs eliminates the need for a CMM? My concern is that the fact that all the radios take timing from the same source does not necessarily means they are synchronized.

Not a true statement. The radio takes its timing sync from the 1 pulse per second that is generated by the GPS receiver. The synchronization is that all the radios are receiving the 1PPS timing from the GPS.

It is theoretically possible to take any GPS receiver which generates 1PPS and send that pulse down to each of the radios on Pin 1 of the timing port.

The NTP function is purely for network management purposes. Unfortunately. I'd like to see the radio sync on NTP myself, but....
