OID for Remove Idle SM's

Hi

According to the MIB, the OID to remove idle SM's from AP is {whispApsConfig 108} or 1.3.6.1.4.1.161.19.3.1.1.108.0 and that it is Read-Write.

However if I try to write to this OID I get a NotWritable error back.

Is this the correct OID?

Hi Colin,

I just tested this and you have all the right information, and on my end it worked correctly. I can think of 2 possibilies that might be causing an issue for you:

1) You did run this command on the AP, not the SM right? (guessing this is NOT the problem :D)

2) Have you enabled the Read/Write permissions for the SNMP Community string for SNMPv2 or v3 (whichever you're using?)

If neither of those work, please provide more info of what build you're running, etc. I test this on 16.0.1 and it was working as expected.

My mistake, had forgotten to set Read/Write permissions on the AP!
